We’re always experimenting with new flavors and refining blends to create exceptional loose-leaf teas our customers love. In 2025, we introduced a wide variety of new teas - ranging from indulgent fan favorites like Pistachio White Chocolate (voted Best New Tea in the 2025 BesTeas Awards), to refreshing herbal and fruit teas like Tranquil Peach, and comforting everyday favorites such as Raspberry Ginger WhiteCitrus Mint Green, and Serenity. Seasonal releases played a big role in 2025 as well, with the debut of winter favorites Butterscotch and Spiced Pear, along with the limited-time return of a nostalgic customer favorite, Cotton Candy.

This year also marked the launch of Whistling Kettle Communi-Tea, a quarterly initiative where we create an exclusive, limited-edition tea to support a nonprofit partner, donating a portion of proceeds from each blend. Featured Communi-Tea collaborations include Sip for Cystic Fibrosis: Salty Caramel and Uni-Tea: Caramel Apple Chai.

With more than 180 loose-leaf teas in our collection, narrowing it down wasn’t easy - but these 10 blends clearly stood out as our best-selling and most popular teas of 2025. Many customers tell us they reach for it every day, hot or cold, and some even use it as a base for home-brewed kombucha. If you like a dependable, characterful black tea that performs well with or without milk, this one is a favorite.
