German Breakfast

Black Tea

This tea is for those who favor quality and boldness in the morning. Our flagship breakfast tea which uses full-bodied Assam along with Java and some of the best Kenyan tea from the Tinderet region to create a truly robust breakfast tea. Start your day off strong with this flavorful gem - works great with a spot of milk and a little honey.

$3.00

This tea uses choice broken grade Assam. This provides the intense Assam flavor but with added strength due to the smaller particle size. We also use an Indonesian tea as well as a Kenyan to add extra dimension.

Attention Tea Drinkers!

Are you looking for a cup of tea that is smooth, full-bodied, and awesome? Then this is the tea for you. Perfectly balanced and not bitter. This tea is a nice way to switch it up from your classic English Breakfast Tea. Give it a try!

A good morning blend

I used to enjoy East Friesian Blend and was sad when it went away. So I was thrilled to discover that German Breakfast is basically the same thing. Breakfast teas are my go-to and this one is a nice way to wake up in the morning.

A nice surprise

I had some preconceptions when I read the name “German Breakfast” that were completely overturned by my first sip. I always take my breakfast tea with milk and sugar, but even within the range of milk & sugar teas this tea was surprisingly sweet & smooth, a very pleasant cup.

If you like strong black tea this is for you. I let it steep long and drink it black. Two cups in the morning does it.
