King of Silver Needles

Great tasting white tea. arrived quickly and packaged very nicely, I even got a free sticker! I would recommend.

King of Silver Needles is now on my tea food pyramid of essentials. Brewing at 180F gives a light, flowery tea, but allowing the kettle to boil again while steeping oxidizes the tea-so in one brew, you go from airy floral tea to something more akin to a light black/oolong tea. It's perfect any time of day, as keeping the kettle full (1L/4TBSP to start) and drinking as needed really stretches it out!

There's a reason why it's called King! Such a smooth tea. Light flavoring and very calming. Always a pleasure to sip.

I've been drinking Silver Needle White tea for quite a few yrs., now. It has a nice mild, pleasant taste to it & it's revered by the Chinese people as top quality & I can see why. Luckily, Whistling Kettle carries it & I've been purchasing, here.

I was very pleased with the taste of this tea, I honestly chose it because of the name, made me wonder what it would be like. It's very flavorful but light, smooth., a touch of honey for sweetener was perfect, would purchase this again.

This tea. I should put 3 exclamation marks behind that sentence and call it done. However, I must carry on. First off it’s just pleasant to look at out of the bag, nothing like I’ve ever seen, and the aroma is subtle but perplexing both in the bag or in the cup. A hint of sweetness on the palate. I’m a pipe smoker and I must say this tea pairs very nicely with several of my tobaccos. It’s just a joy to enjoy. Hail to the Whistlers.

This is a really quality and worthwhile white tea. There's a natural sweetness to it that's difficult to compare to other things; so much better than sugar. No bitterness at all. It can also be re-brewed once or twice with nice flavor. This is one of my go-tos.

When I opened the bag it smelled very delicate and also fragrant. The leaves were very high quality and when we went to make some tea I was impressed by how light the tea was. It was not astringent at all it had a light fruity taste as the description says. I would personally brew it longer than the recommended time they have on here because it was very pale the first time brewing it. You can rebrew this tea in small increments and it’ll hold up well

Throughly enjoyable. I can rebrewed it three times, two hot then one overnight cold brew.

Been drinking only Silver Needle White tea for yrs., now! It has a delicate taste that I love. I've tried other white teas; but, always preferred the Chnese Silver Needle!

I only drink white tea so I am very particular. This white tea is clean and crisp and consistently fantastic.

It's not Elvis, but the "King of Silver Needles" could be a rock star with its appealing name and exotic appearance. The brew from its silver needles is mild and calming, and your dentist will like it because it doesn't stain teeth like its green and black cousins.

Most of the time, I dump tea leaves that are already shredded into my pot. This tea you should ground up a bit in the palm of your hand or a small bowl, then put into hot water or tea brewing devices.
Not as much caffeine as black teas.

Fairly close in taste to the Silver Needle I've been buying, directly from China sources, for a long time. Good to find a source where I don't have to wait forever, to receive it--as is happening now, with this COVID-19.

I typically enjoy Earl Grey (the Cream one is outstanding) tea and decided to try something lighter.

This has been great and would absolutely recommend it as an anytime tea. It has rapidly become one of my favorites. Will be ordering again.

I loved it. This was a surprise for me because I am partial to black teas. It's just so clean and fresh tasting. It's the tea I order the most.

This tea is the perfect amount of caffeine to get me started in my day. It’s also such a high quality that I can re-steep it five times and still have good flavor but less caffeine in each steeping. I use two heavy spoonfuls per large tea mug.

As someone who has always been a black tea drinker, I was looking for something with a little less caffeine that still had a smooth taste. This tea is perfect. It has none of the grassy notes that can pop up in green tea and keeps me feeling alert and hydrated.

Better than any other white tea I’ve tried. Perfect for a relaxing cup of tea in the afternoon or after work. I like to enjoy it with a light snack at work too. Slightly sweet without any bitter bite.

The white silver needle is truly the cream of the crop. No hint of the bitterness associated with the green tea. A hint of sweetness can be noted on the back of it

I love this Tea. It has such a tasty flavor and it keeps getting better the more you brew and use it. Be careful not to burn the leaves with too hot of water. It taste so good with something sweet!
