How to Make a Hot Matcha Latte

  • Yield: 1 12oz serving


What You Need


  • Matcha powder (2 tsp)
  • Hot water (175 F) (6oz)
  • Milk (or daily alternative) (1/2 cup)
  • Sweetener of choice (1 oz)

STEP 1

Sift 2 tsp matcha powder into a small bowl.


STEP 2

Slowly add 6 oz hot water (not boiling) and sweetener. Whisk well using a bamboo matcha whisk or electric frother.


STEP 3

Warm your milk (or dairy of choice), then froth using an electric milk frother.


STEP 4

Pour matcha into your favorite mug. Top with frothed milk.

What You Need
