Confession: I'm normally a flavored tea person, but I tried a sample of this a friend had because I was intrigued by the description of its "malty" flavor, and it immediately became something I had to have. I usually drink it with milk and sugar, and it's incredibly satisfying. Strong enough to hold its own with the milk, but not at all bitter. I was shocked at how enjoyable a high quality tea could be, without all the usual spices and flavorings I'd been depending on. It often replaced coffee for me throughout the day.
I am a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to my estate teas, and I can say that there is a lot of poor quality out there with places claiming to be premium estate. I found this tea, and my senses were overjoyed at the hints of malt coupled with the astringent flavor of the lighter leaves. I love this, and I believe every tea drinker owes it to himself to try this out!
