Marzipan Rooibos

I love anything almond flavored and this tea has the perfect balance of flavor! I love drinking it at night as a sweet and calming way to wind down!

Well, I love the sweet almond taste. It didn’t seem very robust. I think it would be good mixed with the carrot cake tea

One of my most favorite morning teas is Rooibos. Since I can't have caffeine, I had tried Rooibos years ago. Being naturally caffeine free, it seemed like a good one to try. Rooibos is a bolder tea and perfect for that morning "cuppa". But pair it with the flavor of almonds and it brings it to a whole new level. I LOVE marzipan and this seemed like a no brainer to me. So I hopped right on the band wagon. This is a wonderfully full bodied tea with the fantastic taste of Rooibos and Almond in a magical pairing. If you are doubting it, don't. Jump on the band wagon and grab yours now.

This is a new tea for me and I took the risk of buying 4 ounces and am glad I did. When I opened the bag and smelled its fragrance i was afraid that it might be too sweet but it isn't when brewed. I enjoy the flavor, and the hint of nut taste at the finish is delightful. I drink it without sweetening or milk and find it most satisfying.

This is one of the smoothest teas I've tried, and it mixes well! I use Marzipan Rooibos every day as a base. Usually, I add Masala Chai and some kind of mint.

If you like the taste of almonds or marzipan you will love this tea. I like it with a bit of milk as my afternoon tea, either hot or cold. Lovely flavor and aroma.

I thought I would like this more because I love amaretto, but it just didn't do it for me. It is a good rooibos, but I could not taste the almond at all. I would agree with another buyer that the smell of the tea is like a cherry cough syrup, but I disagree because the smell only got stronger for me after being brewed. The cherry was the only note I could find.

I am a big fan of marzipan and this tea does not disappoint! I love the smooth but definite flavoring that makes this tea just perfectly balanced that I dont even need to add sweetener to enjoy! I love it so much that I've abandoned my 3- cup a day of coffee kick in favor of this wonderful brew!

While searching for a tasty but unsweetened caramel tea, I stumbled across this gem. The marzipan flavor is delicious enough to satisfy my sweet tooth without any sugar. Highly recommend for a comforting drink all year round. I expect it will be especially nice during the holidays.

I have ordered and bought Marzipan tea all over the US and this is the best one by far. And it's available all year! You have to try the Rooibos Vanilla also, very smooth and flavorful. Love the prompt delivery and the beautiful packaging! It's always a treat to receive a package from the Whistling Kettle!

I am very pleased with this tea. I had bought some marzipan at an outdoor market and liked it. What I ordered from the whistling kettle is even more full of the flavor I enjoyed from my first marzipan. I will buy it again.

We haven't even had this served hot yet - I just made it iced tonight, added a little honey, and....it is just incredible! Such complex notes, such depth of flavor. Everyone marveled at how delicious it tasted! This was our favorite blend so far.

This is the most wonderful tea! The almond flavor is strong, but not overpowering, and then, of course, you get all the health benefits of rooibus tea to boot. Love this tea!

A friend introduced me to this tea at my birthday party and I (along with everyone else) was immediately hooked. Even without adding sugar, it has that sweet aroma that still satisfies my sweet tooth. Making a sweet tea with it is like drinking dessert and I can't get enough! This is hands down my favorite and I'm temped to give small bags as gifts to friends for Christmas.

I really enjoyed this blend. Im pregnant and trying to stock up on some rooibos/honeybush/herbal tisanes so that I can still enjoy tea without the caffeine. Ive been on a bit of a "nutty" kick lately, anything with nuts in it I have to try! When it comes to almond/marzipan, there is a fine line between artificial and cherry tasting & nutty almond cream. Upon opening my sample packet, it smelled a little bit like cherry cough medicine-not going to lie. I was hesitant but decided to go ahead and brew it anyway. Thankfully once brewed, this blend both smells and tastes great! It doesn't taste artificial and its definitely a nutty almond flavor with a hint of that marzipan/amaretto sweetness. The aftertaste has a little bit of that cherry flavor but I am able to look past it. I am super picky when it comes to almond teas, and I'm pregnant lol, so if I like it then I think you'll like it too. I will definitely buy this in a larger quantity next time I make a purchase!

I love this tea. My 3 yr old even wakes and wants a cup of this precious tea. I can enjoy it anytime of the day because Rooibos is Caffeine free. I love to open up a bag and just inhale the deep aroma. If you love almond than this is your tea. My favorite thing is to add milk and sugar and treat it like a chai.

Being a marzipan fan, I've tried many flavored teas in the past that ended up being a disappointment. But THIS one tastes exactly how a marzipan tea should - a little sweet, but not overpowering, and blending wonderfully with the rooibos. I bought a sample in-store, and to this day regret that I didn't just buy all of it then and there.

Love this tea! Tried it during my first visit to the cafe and I have never ordered anything else. I easily go through a 5 ounce can in a week. Best of all, I have no issues with caffeine side effects unlike like other teas that are supposedly decaf or caffeine free. Plus it has a wonderful flavor that is subtle, but very much present.

This tea is just delicious - I rarely add ceam or sweetener to my hot teas, but make an exception for this one, as it turns a great cup of tea into a decadent treat! Rooibos is the perfect base for this flavor combination, and with the added antioxidants and health benefits, its a must try - even if you're not a Marzipan fan!
