Decaf Sencha

I was looking for a decaf green tea and happened upon this one. I already love the whistling kettles delicious food and many of their other teas too.
Give it a try if you love green tea but don’t want the caffeine. It’s very delicious 😋

Perfect tea to brew up during hot weather. Refreshing and light, esp makes a good ice teac. Keeping some brewed up always ‘on hand’.

The tea I received is very tasty and is the full leaf variety. I was happy to find the decaf Sencha as it can be difficult to find. I will definitely order again.

We've been drinking this tea for years. We use it for hot tea in the winter and in the summer brew it in the sun. It has a wonderful taste and no buzz.

I feel invigorated every time I drink this tea. I realize that even the best-processed decaf green tea has fewer antioxidants than the caffeinated version. But after reading about, I’m convinced it still has enough healthful properties to make it worth drinking. I like it strong and slightly bitter but my husband wants his brewed very briefly with a drizzle of maple syrup. Good product. I’ve tried many decaf green teas. This is my favorite.

No worries about over steeping with this tea, never bitter. Mild, but enjoyable flavor

I always drink a pot of decaf sencha every morning to start my day. The benefits of green tea without the caffeine that makes me jittery. This tea is smooth and has a nutty flavor which I rely on every morning without fail. sensation! Sometimes add a small amount of raw sugar to the pot. Love decaf sencha!

I may be sensitive to caffeine, because I can only drink one or two cups of tea before the world starts to whirl. So I started looking for decaf options. I have had an incredibly hard time finding a CO2 decaffeinated, loose leaf green tea. So I was thrilled when I found this one! It's light and smooth and I can drink as many cups of it as I want whenever I want because it's decaf!

I have been using your product for years. I carry it with me everywhere I go, as I have not been able to find any other product that compares too our Decaf Sencha.

It's nice to have a decaf green tea to drink in the evening. I have RLS, and if I have caffeine after 4pm my legs feel like they have electricity running through them. i don't get that with this tea. Plus, it has a wonderful flavor.

This is the best decafe tea. I drink tea every morning and this delicate tea is delicious. Unfortunately the store in Ballston Spa does not sell in any more. :(. I have been buying this tea since the store opened. Today when I went in to purchase my 8 oz size, I was told the tea was discontinued. Please bring decafe Sencha back to your inventory.

I'm a tea lover, and used to really enjoy sampling all kinds of different teas. My favorite ritual was doing "tea tastings" with my son, and picking out varieties that I would like to have on hand for full cups. The son and I got to be quite the tea snobs!
And then health issues hit. And caffeine became a big no-no. It was devastating. I tried all kinds of decaf teas, and never really found any I liked much. Green has been the hardest to find a decent decaf version of. All the ones I tried tasted basically like warm water with a green leaf dipped in really quickly. Very little actual taste, if any.
So in desperation I did a Google search for "best decaf green tea." This one came up, so I decided to give it a try. And I'm really glad I did! It actually tastes like green tea. Maybe not like some of the higher-end special green teas I'd grown to love, but hey, this one has FLAVOR. And it's good flavor! So I am very happy to have found Whistling Kettle's version of decaf green, and once I'm done with this batch (which shouldn't take long), I know I'll be ordering more.

This is a nice, light tea as described. I mixed it with a floral light detox or decaf chai. For those who are not all day tea drinkers, the 4 oz size is generous which allows one to chose a variety of teas offered to blend your own custom flavors.

I enjoy this decaf green tea daily. It has a mild flavor, and is a great option when I don't want extra caffeine.

This decaf green has a mild pleasant flavor. It's good alone or mixed with other teas.

This tea is delicious. I primarily use it to make iced tea that I drink throughout the day. It's very smooth, but not so light that it's tasteless. I steep it at a lower temperature and then just leave the teabag in all day...it never gets bitter. (It's also a pleasure to drink in a wine glass...)
I'll never go back to supermarket tea bags again...this tea has totally spoiled me.
