I love to have a scoop for loose tea. Makes a more consistent cup. Like the versatility of the clip, not functional for tins, but works when you have a bag.

I noticed the scoop is one tablespoon. It said in the instructions for all your loose teas that one teaspoon makes one cup of tea. Was I supposed to be using one tablespoon of dry tea for 8 ounces of water this whole time? I noticed that all the teas I have tried seem weak.

The 1tsp per 6-8oz is a very loose rule of thumb. It is going to differ based on preference, brewing amount, type of tea, etc.

For example - we use a slightly heaped tablespoon for 16oz pot. That is usually sufficient. When we use the 'old man' method - like in a glass tumbler where the leaves stay in, we might use a little less.

1 tablespoon for 8oz is too much IMO. In your case double what you are doing.

Another thing we have done with a tea we prefer stronger is let is steep a minute or so longer.

Is this dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand washing. Generally there isn't that much of a need to clean these, as you are scooping dry material. A quick rinse and wipe is all that is needed.

Is this measure for a cup or a pot? I can't really tell from the picture and I don't see it anywhere in a discription.
