Greek Mountain Tea

Very light flavored tea. I love the smooth flavor and have made this tea a part of my nightly routine. Reasonably priced for a large sized bag. I’m really happy with my purchase. Even more happy to have discovered Whistling Kettle.

Minty but not just minty. I like it.

Definitely different but not bad. Not much flavor but a smooth mouth feel which is nice.

This tea doesn’t look like much when brewed but the subtle taste comes together and leaves you wanting more. The health benefits, yes please!

When I received the tea I was kinda perplexed by how it looked. Not bad just different. I’m from the Southern United States and this could be a number of things I’ve seen growing wild in fields before. The difference, The Whistling Kettle blenders. This is in my top 3 go to teas now. I don’t know what Greek Mountain Tea is nor do I really care after tasting it, just great. It’s so smooth and I like it in the evening because it’s also relaxing. My next venture into the Wild Greek Mountains is going to be to the Meadow and I fully expect it to be superb as well. Thanks Whistlers great job.

I've had my Greek Mountain tea for about a week, and I love it! Especially I enjoy the floral taste/aftertaste of the camomile (I think) and other good things.

I first heard about this tea in a new book, Elixir, which is a bittersweet non-fiction that takes place in the Balkans. They call the tea mursala. The author enjoyed it so much it made me want to try it. There is a wildness to it. To me, it tastes minty oregano, earthy and spry. I have drunk much tea in my life, and this is my new favorite.

This tea tastes really good. I drink a lot of white tea and this tastes a little similar in that it has a nice clean taste, not strong. Will buy a lot in the future!

My husband and I mostly drink black teas, but we tried a sample of this and fell in love. It’s my husband’s new favorite and I’ve already purchase several bags. It is light and clean tasting, mild but with enough flavor to be satisfying. Reminds me of an herbal tea I drank while in Iceland, but better!

I would recommend to my family and friends.

The first thing I did when I came home from vacation last summer was look for a place where I could get Greek Mountain Tea within the US (i.e. without insane shipping costs). I was nervous that the quality wouldn't be as good as what I'd brought home with me, but it's great! Thank you, Whistling Kettle for existing so I can continue to enjoy this tea.

The description provided for this tea is spot on. It's the perfect tea for me at my office because I can leave the same tea bag in my mug all day with it never tasting bitter if I'm not able finish it before I leave for the day. It has a pleasant mild taste so it can be enjoyed at anytime of the day and goes with anything you might be eating.

Just started drinking Greek Mountain Tea. I really enjoy the refreshing flavor. One of the health & wellness of this tea is supposed to help lower blood pressure which I hope that it may help. Even if it doesn’t I am still enjoyingthe flavors. Excited to try other teas & buying some family Christmas presents. ENJOY!!

In general I like the idea of a hot soothing bedtime tea, but I've found that I really don't care for basically every herbal tea I've ever tried. They all seem to be too sweet, too fruity, too flowery, or too overpowering. So I'm quite happy to finally find an herbal tea that I like! Greek Mountain tea is delightful. It's reminiscent of chamomile, but milder, with notes of lemon. It's very pleasant and soothing, great for unwinding in the evening. The recommended strength is 1 tsp per cup, but the "leaves" (and stems and flowers) are rather large so a spoonful doesn't really get that much. I use two spoonfuls and that's just right (it would probably be 1 tsp if you packed it down).

I bought a sample to try. It’s very light and calming . Unusual texture, a great option for a nighttime tea. I think I used more than the recommended amount per cup.

Our favorite tea and favorite country.

Sipping on Greek Mountain tea is like receiving a warm hug. The taste is simple, smooth and refreshing. After drinking this tea regularly for a few weeks I felt healthier with increased vitality, without the imitation of caffeine or other stimulants.

When my brother in law got married in Greece in Summer 2019 his new mother in law gave me a big bag of this tea. I finally got through it in October, and was hopeful this would be the same!

My husband in half Greek and he always buys Greek Mountain tea at the Greek Church Food festivals. It is nice to know that I can order it from Whistling Tea Kettle when he runs out. The stems are not packed which makes it easier to infuse that when he gets it at the festivals. He likes it for its health benefits and says it has a grassy taste.

Drinking this light refreshing tea is very relaxing. I do believe my joints feel better after a daily cup for the past 2 weeks.

I never use milk or any sweetener in my tea. This is just refreshingly satisfying to drink in its natural state.

So happy to have found not only this delicious tea but this wonderful company. The Green Mountain Tea smells Inviting as it steeps. The flavor is smooth and light. Truly enjoyable.
