Dragonwell Longjing, Organic

This is the tea I go to most often. I wrote a review on this once before, but here's an addendum.

It is better than any of the local teas I can find in Florida, so I order it online and have it shipped. Once, only once, did I get a better tea. But...it was from a friend with relatives in Taiwan and he travels there every year. He brought me back their ELITE tea one time and gotta admit, it was special. So, if you have friends or relatives in China or Taiwan, you're in luck. Otherwise, this tea is pretty damn good!

I don't often get excited about green tea, as a lot of the ones I've tried so far have tasted fairly interchangeable. However, this tea is absolutely fantastic and changed my bias against green teas. There's a smooth roasty-toasty flavor that I love. Just wonderful. Mild, no bitterness, but lots of depth. A subtle hint of vegetal sweetness. Upon first sip I knew I'd need to size my sample up to the largest bag.

Tastes like it's not 2024. Probably an older year of some sort. I should have known when the year wasn't specified.

I am a fan of Dragonwell tea. It's my go-to tea every day. A supplier I've used for years stopped carrying it. I was excited to find it available at Whistling Kettle. It had a wonderful taste. I've now ordered it several times.

It was a bit milder than I expected. You can definitely smell the roastiness but it doesn’t show up in the flavor of the tea as much. Not my personal favorite, but I would recommend for someone looking for a milder flavored tea

Dragonwell is one of my all-time favorite teas. TWK's product is the best, delivering a perfect leaf that is light in flavor with a hint of sweetness. A perfect mild tea for any occasion. 5 Stars, A+

This tea is delicious! I enjoy it a Great deal. I have not been disappointed by any of the teas I have tried.

Not the kind of green tea I quite enjoy, but it wasnt terrible. While not pleasant on my palette I know for a fact through having other green tea drinkers try it that the chestnutty, and grassy/vegetable like flavor with a strong umami finish, is one that's highly appraised by people who enjoy a more vegetabley and umami forward green tea. 3 stars not because it's a bad product in general, just a bad product for me personally.

This tea was just tea my 1st time trying it and I found it lacking any distinguishing traits to note however I am willing to try it again just to solidify my opinion.

This delightfully mellow and complex tea has a flavor reminiscent of autumn leaves. It is my second favorite tea behind Gyokuro. An excellent choice for an afternoon tea. I agree with other posts that this is as good or better than any other Dragonwell out there. And I love that it is certified organic.

As with all your teas, this one is wonderful. Much higher quality than grocery store brands, and fun to brew. Package came quickly--great customer service!

I have tried many Dragonwell green teas over the years and this is the best tasting Dragonwell I have found. I highly recommend this tea!

I've been drinking another brand of dragonwell for a few years and have never found one I liked better than that one... until this one. I do have to steep this a little longer than other dragonwells, but the depth of flavor is much better with this compared to any other I've tried.

This is my favorite green tea. I once read that this flavor is the most popular tea in China, too. If you want a great green tea with mega health benefits, look no further than this one. The Whistling Kettle has a winner. I've tried others and you WON'T find better. Buck up and pay the bit extra, 'cause it's worth it. Sorry if I sound like a commercial, but when you figure the cost per cup, the extra amount is minimal.

I've gone through a bunch of Lung Ching brands, sampling about 10 different types. This one by far is the best I've found. Worth the extra $$$
