Also known as Yunnan Dian hong Feng Qing. China is home to some of the oldest tea trees. They are deeply rooted and have been cultivated for hundreds of years. These teas are renowned for their flavor profile which is smooth and lacking tannin bitterness, while retaining a smooth sweet malty note.
Our Ancient Forest black tea is made purely from these golden-tipped tea leaves. The flavor is bold with notes of cedar and honey. Start your morning with a revitalizing cup of Ancient Forest black tea and appreciate the abundance of nature.

For the best tasting cup we recommend the following:
8 fl oz
212° F
1.5 tsp
3-5 minutes
Mostly highly rated: a smooth, naturally sweet, rich Yunnan black with earthy, caramel/chocolate and faint cedar-smoke notes, a silky mouthfeel and lots of golden tips—forgiving on steep time, good hot or iced, and enjoyable with or without milk. Quality is generally consistent and worth buying in larger bags, but a few buyers reported batch variation (darker leaves or a soapy/vanilla off-note) and one customer service issue, so sampling first is advised if you’re concerned.
