Cloud and Mist (Yun Wu)

A dark green, quality leaf yeilding a bright, clean infusion. An excellent daily green tea at a very good price point. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed in Cloud & Mist tea. It lacked any flavor and is “weak tea”. From the description, I was looking forward to trying this tea but there are many better teas in the catalog so I would pass on this one.

Not only does this tea look like clouds and mist, it also tastes great. It tastes like high quality green tea despite it's dark color.

Solid flavor and aroma

I'm so happy this is back in stock! I ordered from someplace else while it wasn't available here. I threw away $40 worth of it when this came back in because this is so much better!

I love The Whistling Kettle's Dragonwell and drink it most mornings, but who can drink the same thing every day? (Not me). So if you are the kind of tea drinker that likes oolongs, senchas, and the occasional black, then mix it uup with Cloud and Mist. It won't diappoint. It has a light flavor is closer to Dragonwell than most teas, still it has it's own taste. You won't be disappointed.

A surprise sleeper hit, an acquired taste. This tea actually surprised me with it's uncanny and unique flavor profile and rich aroma. The taste of this magnificent blend was enough to mention twice. I must admit that I'm truly smitten with this tea that I became a lifetime fan. Your Welcome.....

Better than Emperor's Cloud at Starbucks

The specific tea we chose, Cloud and Mist is a great choice for any tea enjoyer. It is very nice to drink cold at hot weather and gives off a very pleasant light tart flavour.

Great tea! A drop of honey and a dehydrated lemon peel take it to another level in my opinion. Try it and I think you’ll like it.

I prefer Chinese green teas to those from Japan and this Cloud and Mist is my new favorite. As soon as I smelled it in the bag I knew I would love it. The other green i've been drinking lately is an award-winning dragonwell from another vendor, but this tea is more to my taste.

It is getting so hard to find a tea company that sells loose tea. After much online surfing, I found The Whistling Kettle and I am so glad I found you! Your teas are amazing and the Cloud & Mist green tea is OMG so good! It is one of the best green teas I have ever tasted. I have been enjoying everything I purchased including a sampling of teas, a new teapot, gifts for fellow tea lovers. Trust me, I will be ordering much more!

I grew up on gyokuro green tea but after tasting a sample of Cloud and Mist, it became my new favorite.

Worth. Every. Penny. This green tea is so fresh tasting with a slight sweetness. There’s nothing I’ve tried yet that compares to it.

This is one of my favorite organic green teas. It has a light pleasant flavor, and stands up to several infusions. When I want a change from Gyokuro, which I also love, this is one of my first choices.

I originally ordered this tea because I was looking for something similar to Travana's Emporer's Cloud & Mist since that is my go to order at Starbucks. I was very pleased with the taste and quality of this tea. In fact, I much prefer it over the Starbucks version and will continue ordering it in the future. Sorry, Starbucks!

It's hard to find a good example of this style. It's fresh and greener compared to others. Wonderfully full bodied with a little floral action and underlying nutty/grassy notes - but more subdued to a Japanese Gyokuro.

Very nice and smooth brew. Always a favorite. I really enjoy this tea due to the aroma and smooth flavor.

Sometimes I just don't want ultra grassy green tea - I prefer the Chinese types over the Japanese ones because of this. This one is exceptionally smooth, but not as heavy as a gunpowder.
