I CAN drink this tea and probably will so that my money isn't wasted. For me this Decaf English Breakfast is NOT delightful. I'm glad I only purchased a sample. The English Breakfast teas I've enjoyed previously were Chinese Keemun / Qimen and delicious. I noted this tea is from India. I love some Assams and Darjeelings so had high hopes. I REALLY wanted a decaf version of a personal favorite. Unfortunately, dry or steeped, I find the scent rather "funky"-- sort of fermented as some pu'er teas smell. The taste is more pleasing but not the taste I'm accustomed to for English Breakfast. Disappointed. :(

I love this tea! I searched for awhile to find a loose leaf decaf English breakfast that had all the taste and quality of a regular English breakfast. Here it is! The flavor is perfect and the quality is excellent

I have tried many many brands of CO2-decaf black tea and the one from Whistling Kettle is may absolute fav. It has the tannins and minerality you expect in a good black tea. Real flavor, in other words! (I use 2 heaping teaspoons per mug.)

The decaf is excellent - no jitters and no diuretic effect like caffeinated. The flavor is rich but I use two tea spoons for 12 ounces.

You know that dreary feeling when you've finished your cup/pot of black tea and know you shouldn't have another but you really, REALLY, want one? When you pour more water over the original leaves, but the result is a washed-out wannabe of the first cup? This decaffeinated tea saves the day! Great flavor and body, no jitters. I threw out some Taylors decaffeinated breakfast teabags I had in the drawer, which I'd been trying to get myself to drink but just didn't like. So glad I found this one.

I love tea but can't do caffeine after mid-day. I hoped to find a fabulous decaf tea, but this wasn't it. It was flat and had an odd taste.

I tried many decaf teas and they lacked spark. Not this decaf english breakfast! I can end the night with a wow instead of a womp, womp. And for some fun, I may add some amaretto and join in with my Irish coffee-drinking friends.

A very nice tea. I like black tea but have to limit my caffeine intake. This tea allows me to drink hot or iced in the afternoon.

I discovered Decaf English Breakfast as a replacement for the bland decaf teas in supermarkets. I have to limit my caffeine intake but with this blend I can satisfy my desire to drink it hot or cold through out the day. Yes, I drink tea with caffeine in it and I have found a nice selection at Whistling Kettle. It's nice to have choices. My complaint in the past was that decaf teas are bland and this one isn't! The aroma and flavor are wonderful. I do brew it strong!

While I appreciate the decaf nature of this tea, I prefer a bolder, more pronounced flavor in my tea, Irish breakfast is my favorite so perhaps it is the contrast that leads to only three stars. I find this a bit tepid For my taste.
