Blend 1776

I enjoyed the blend of black and jasmin tea which made it a little lighter than a straight black tea. Overall, I prefer more flavored black teas, but that's a personal preference thing. I think many will find this tea enjoyable. I drank it hot with a little bit of honey.

1776 is perfectly great black tea with some extra flavor from the other ingredients. The colors are nice. If you like black tea or have a reason to gift something red white and blue, you won’t be disappointed. Why 4 stars? Only because I feel it doesn’t have that extra greatness that angels dream or monks blend has:)

The combination of jasmine and black tea here gives this tea a smooth and soothing quality. Strawberry does not make the tea too sweet, overall I would consider buying a larger bag

One of the finest black teas I have tasted. I initially ordered the sample size but, after my first cup, promptly order a larger back. I highly recommend this tea.

I enjoyed the smell of the tea, first of all. It made me really want a cup to drink. It tastes great!

I truly love this tea. I have brewed it by the 14 oz mug with a rounded up tsp & by the Big Steep pot with 3/4 TBSP. I have drank it hot, warm, & cold & love it every single time I brew it. I like the aroma of the leaves & love the flavor of this tea. I always can get 2 steeps from my leaves, however I let it steep much longer on my second steep. I have never experienced any bitterness from this tea at all. Anyone saying it is bitter is probably using too high temp water to steep. I do not add any form of sweetner or cream. I have not yet cold brewed this tea, but plan to soon do that as well. This is definitely one of my most favorite teas!

Love the flavor and aroma of this blended tea. I add honey to it for a little more sweetness. It does have a sweetness to it and you can drink it plain or add milk or cream to it. Thank you for the tea.

It's a pretty blend in the package but not my favorite brewed tea. The first cup I brewed according to instructions was way too strong, the second cup I reduced the steeping time and it was way too weak. It may be a tea blend more suitable by the pot or as ice tea rather than brewing a cup at a time. I'm not giving up on it yet, I'll find the perfect way to enjoy this tea blend.

Loved the floral aspect! Overall a great tea! Just don’t oversleep it like I tend to do on accident or it gets a bit bitter.

Stands up well to milk and honey. My favorite tea to savor on the weekend when I'm not in a rush.

I love a good flowery tea. It definitely gets strong if you brew it too long but it still tastes good.

This is a really good black tea; to me the flavor that stands out is maple.

Best. Tea. Ever. This is my all-time favorite blend. The subtle hint of maple and strawberry is perfect! Very glad this tea was not thrown overboard during the Boston Tea Party!

I needed a replacement for Angels Dream and this one fits the bill. The flavors are subtle. It is a good breakfast tea.

Normally prefer a stronger black tea but this tea is a wonderful synergy of flavors and aromas. A pleasure to drink.

I was an occasional tea drinker. Always tea, never coffee. Blend 1776 is my most favorite tea. I drink one cup in the morning and I’m good for the day. Sometimes I might have a second cup in the early afternoon.

This blend is a solid one, with nice smooth flavors and a rich feel. Its not artificial or overly-flavored, and I like the reliability of this cup. I recommend. When I think of the northeast, I think of strawberries in the summer, VT maple syrup, and tea (because of the original colonies). This tea combines all of these things into one great cuppa! I agree with those that have said this one can replace coffee.
