2018 Yunnan Xigui Mountain Pu-erh Tea Raw

2018 Yunnan Xigui Mountain Pu-erh Tea Raw
Pu-erh Tea

This tea comes from Manglu Mountain in Xigui Village in Tiedong Township, Linxiang District, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. This tea uses 200-year-old green tea as the raw material and is made by traditional production techniques. The ten thousand acres of tea plantation in Xiguishan is planted with arbor-shaped thousand-year-old trees.  Calm and strong honey fragrance. Liquor is bright in color, with little bitterness or astringency, with a good sweet aftertaste.   Brewing Suggestions. We recommend 5 grams for 8 ounces of water. Use boiling water and briefly rinse the leaves and pour off. If time allows, let the leaves steam for a few minutes, then re-infuse. This will release more flavor and enhance its bouquet. Leaves will yield multiple steeps.

The Whistling Kettle Tea Almond Lemon Panna Cotta, loose leaf and brewed. Brewed Almond Lemon Panna Cotta in Ceramic Bird Egg Travel Mug next to Tea Tin filled with Almond Lemon Panna Cotta loose leaf tea.

Almond Lemon Panna Cotta
Black Tea

Almond Lemon Panna Cotta is a dessert-in-a-cup, built on a smooth black tea base and inspired by the classic Italian treat. Bright lemon and delicate almond notes sit on top of a soft, creamy panna cotta profile with a hint of vanilla and yogurt-like richness, creating a balanced, bakery-style flavor that feels indulgent without being cloying. The aroma is irresistible, and the sip matches it with a sunny lemon lift, a gentle nutty warmth, and a silky finish that reads like lemon pound cake, lemon cookie, or almond biscotti. It’s wonderfully versatile, delicious hot or iced, and it makes a lush latte when finished with milk or cold foam. The blend is forgiving, so you can brew it a touch stronger for more punch, or keep it mild for a subtler dessert note. If you love lemon pastry teas, almond-forward blends, or creamy dessert flavors, this is an easy reach for a comforting afternoon cup or a sweet ending to any meal. Bright, creamy, and bakery-inspired, Almond Lemon Panna Cotta is a cheerful, year-round favorite.

The Whistling Kettle Tea Autumn Haze loose leaf and brewed. Glass of Autumn Haze tea next to bowl of Autumn Haze tea leaves.

Autumn Haze
Black Tea

Autumn Haze is a cozy, maple-sweet black tea that feels like a walk through crisp fall air. The blend layers warm maple and creamy vanilla over a subtle nutty backdrop, creating an inviting aroma that fills the room the moment you open the pouch. It’s gentle rather than bold, perfect for anyone who prefers a softer flavored black tea. The taste skews maple-forward with a smooth vanilla creaminess and a toasty hazelnut warmth that rounds the cup. Some tasters also notice faint dried fruit undertones, which add a little complexity without stealing the spotlight. Because the flavoring is restrained, this tea shines both as a quiet, comforting sip and as the base for sweeter preparations. Enjoy Autumn Haze on a chilly morning, curled up with a book, or dressed up into a creamy latte by brewing a stronger concentrate and adding warmed milk. This seasonal favorite evokes cozy autumn moments, and it’s a great pick for anyone who wants fall flavor without heavy spice.

Black Dragon Pearls tea, brewed and loose leaf. Cup & Saucer filled with brewed Black Dragon Pearls next to Black Dragon Pearls loose leaf tea.

Black Dragon Pearls
Black Tea

Black Dragon Pearls is a hand-rolled black tea that turns a simple steep into a small ritual. Each pearl unfurls in hot water to release a smooth, full-bodied cup with layered flavors: cocoa and dark caramel at the core, gentle malt and honeyed sweetness in the finish, and an earthy depth that keeps it interesting without any bitterness. The pearls make brewing feel a little theatrical, and they re-brew surprisingly well, so one serving can stretch into two cups. This tea is a favorite for morning routine or anytime you want a comforting, refined black tea. It works beautifully on its own, no additions required, yet it also pairs nicely with a touch of rock sugar or a splash of milk for those who prefer it that way. The presentation is part of the charm: each pearl is carefully rolled and presented for freshness, making Black Dragon Pearls an elegant choice for gifting or for your own tea shelf. If you enjoy rich, smooth black teas with chocolatey and caramel notes, Black Dragon Pearls is one to try. It offers a distinctive flavor profile that appeals to both black tea enthusiasts and anyone looking to broaden their tea rotation with something artisanal and easy to brew.
