Ingredients

    Earl Grey Matcha Latte Recipe

  • 4g (~2 tsp) Ceremonial Grade Matcha

  • 4oz hot water (not boiling)

  • 4oz choice of milk

  • 1 oz Earl Grey syrup

  • Ice cubes

  • Earl Grey Syrup Recipe

  • 2 tbsp loose leaf Earl Grey tea

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • Cold Foam Mix Recipe

  • 6oz heavy cream

  • 4oz whole milk

  • Earl Grey Cold Foam Recipe

  • ¼ cup cold foam mix

  • 1 oz earl grey syrup

Directions

    Earl Grey Matcha Latte Recipe

    1. Sift 4g (~2 tsp) matcha powder into a small bowl

    2. Slowly add 4oz hot water (not boiling). Whisk briskly in a “W” or “M” motion with a matcha whisk until the tea becomes frothy with fine bubbles and no visible lumps. Set aside.

    3. Add 1 oz Earl Grey syrup to the bottom of a glass

    4. Pour ½ cup milk into your glass and mix

    5. Fill glass with ice

    6. Pour matcha over milk to layer

    7. In a separate tall cup, combine 2oz cold foam mix and 1 oz Earl Grey syrup. Using an electric hand milk frother, mix until thick.

    8. Top matcha with Earl Grey cold foam. Enjoy!

    Cold Foam Mix Recipe (makes ~5 servings)

    1. In a mason jar, combine 6oz heavy cream and 4oz whole milk. Stir to combine. Lasts ~1 week in refrigerator.

    Earl Grey Syrup Recipe (~8 servings)

    1. In a cup, steep 2 tbsp of Earl Grey tea with 1 cup of boiling water for 4 minutes.

    2. After steeping, remove tea leaves. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and mix until sugar completely dissolves. Lasts ~1 week in the refrigerator.
