Description

Decaf Irish Breakfast is a full-bodied, rich, and thick cup of tea. For maximum strength, Irish Breakfast tea leaves are processed using the Crush-Tear-Curl (CTC) method, which enhances the tea’s bold character. Since CTC leaves are already small, the CO2 decaffeination process makes them even smaller - yet this tea still delivers the same deep, malty flavor that Irish tea lovers prefer. It's sourced out of the Nandi Hills of Kenya. Much like the world-class long-distance runners that often come from this area, this tea is hard to beat.

Customer Reviews

A hearty, malty Irish Breakfast decaf that many customers say retains the flavor of caffeinated black tea (the CO2 decaffeination is frequently praised), making it great for morning or evening, with milk, or as a base for blends. A few reviewers found it milder than some English Breakfasts and recommend using a bit more leaf if you prefer a stronger brew, but most are repeat buyers who highly recommend it.

Excellent decaf.

This is a great decaf option for caffeine- sensitive tea lovers. I'm very impressed at how this blend retains the wonderful flavor in the decaffeination process. Very happy to have found it!

Really Tasty De-Caff Irish Breakfast Tea

This De-caff black tea tastes almost as good as regular black tea. Highly recommend it, if you want a de-caff tea.

Very Good Irish Breakfast

I use a little more than 1 tsp per 8oz because the tea seems weaker than the English Decaf or maybe I just prefer the English version - just the opposite when I was using Twinings tea bags. Overall I do prefer the Kettle flavor especially the CO2 process.
