Decaf Irish Breakfast

It’s hard to find a good flavored decaf black tea. I am in love with the Decaf Irish Breakfast tea by Whistling Kettle!!! Their Decaf English Breakfast tea is also good but the robust flavor of the Irish Breakfast is my absolute favorite!!! So glad I discovered Whistling Kettle teas!!!

I enjoyed the tea, it just was not as strong as I was expecting…I have read that it was much stronger than the English blend. However, I will be subscribing to add a variety to my morning tea selection.

I've been drinking tea for decades and now that I have had a lot of birthdays I have to drink decaf in the afternoon. Decaf Irish Breakfast is excellent!
I ordered a pound of it. Imagine my surprise when I got 4 packs of 4 oz packets. Rather than a 1 pound pack. The 4oz packs are packed in what I cal"kevlar" packaging..you need tools to open the damn things..much like chips and other packaged items now days. Back to my search as I can't advocate the type packaging that seems as though it will take a LONG time to biodegrade.(if ever? lol) Hence the 3 stars..5 stars for the tea alone.

This is a great decaf option for caffeine- sensitive tea lovers. I'm very impressed at how this blend retains the wonderful flavor in the decaffeination process. Very happy to have found it!

This De-caff black tea tastes almost as good as regular black tea. Highly recommend it, if you want a de-caff tea.

It is not always easy to find decaf tea so I thought I would try this one out. It have become my favorite tea. Definitely worth the try.

I use a little more than 1 tsp per 8oz because the tea seems weaker than the English Decaf or maybe I just prefer the English version - just the opposite when I was using Twinings tea bags. Overall I do prefer the Kettle flavor especially the CO2 process.

This has the malty aroma and taste of Irish Breakfast but it is too weak for my liking.

It's drinkable but I just thought the tea would have more flavor. I'll try a different blend next time.

I drink Irish and Irish decaf almost daily. These are the usual tea bags from Trader Joe's and Twining. This loose leaf is equal or better than these.

This is a decaf tea that is full of flavor. I love the basic black tea flavor, but do like the decaf in the afternoon. I drink the regular Irish Tea in the morning.

I use black teas as a base for my mixtures. Up till now it has mostly been Chiba black but the Irish Breakfast has proved very good. Presently enjoying a 25% English breakfast mix but am keeping my eyes open for some decaf Lapsang Souchong.

This has become the decaf tea that I turn to day after day when I want the richest flavor that tastes most like caffeinated tea. I have tried many decafs, from many shops and online suppliers, and this one is, to me, clearly the best.

We drink this tea every morning combined with Decaf Earl Grey. Full of flavor and completely satisfying. Sometimes it’s hard to find the decaf Irish but is definitely worth waiting for.

Love this tea as much as I love the fully charged version. The taste is just as smooth and perfect for later in the day or on chilly evenings. Perfect to have when curled up on the couch with a book in the other hand!
