Purple Tea

Purple Tea is a unique strain of tea with a special mutation that gives it its unique purple color. Our Kenyan Purple Tea is processed like green tea - it is picked and immediately dried to prevent oxidation. What's interesting about this tea is that while it looks very dark in color, the steeping is very light, with a pinkish hue. Our purple tea comes from the Nandi Hills in Kenya and is the best quality of this variety available.
