Customers praised this pu-erh tea for its "amazing flavor" that balances earthy notes with sweet fruitiness. Most enjoyed it both hot and iced, with many saying it "tastes better" than competitors. The blend features real fruit pieces and works well mixed with other teas. One customer noted it's "not too heavy tasting," though one found too much fruit for their preference.

I cold brewed this and it was so delicious

I cold brewed this and it was so delicious. I added a little bit of agave but it was good without it too. I haven't tried it hot yet, but I suspect it will be just as good hot. I definitely recommend.

Love this tea

Wonderful on its own, and wonderful mixed with either Vanilla Cream tea or Snowflake as well. This tea is a staple in my house!

Love!

I love the superfruit pu-erh tea. It’s so delicious! It doesn’t quite have the boost that the old Teavana company’s pu-erh tea had. I’ve missed that tea so much since Starbucks bought them out and discontinued it. Dare I say, that The Whistling Kettle’s version tastes better! I am definitely going to be a regular customer.

Amazing!!

It smelled so good when I opened the bag and I loved that this tea had actual whole raspberries in it.
This tea is so delicious! It has such an amazing flavor, it's sweet and fruity. This would make a great iced tea! This is probably the best fruit tea I've had in a while. Will definitely have to get more of this one when I run out.

Not my cup of tea

Overall a good tea but I learned I wouldn’t go for another tea with this much fruit in it. Just not my style.

My favorite iced tea!

I call this my "blueberry bliss" iced tea. I have tried and brewed a few iced teas from whistling kettle and so far this is my favorite! I add a little bit of sweetener when i brew it into iced tea. Somehow iced tea mysteriously gets even better the next day when brewed and than left alone over night and drank the next day. I taste the blueberry but not overpowering just a beautiful blend!

Love this tea!

I am a big fan of Puerh tea and this one has quickly become a favorite. I don't usually like extra flavors in my puerh teas, but the fruityness of this one is such a perfect match for the earthiness. I just stocked up to make sure I don't ever run out!

My Daughter's Favorite!

My 16 yr old daughter has never liked soda and doesn't like to drink high calorie juice all the time. We have an ice tea maker and she makes at least one big jug of this a day. We sweeten with Monk Fruit. The flavor of this tea is amazing and the fruit really comes through.

Best Iced Tea

I'm not a hot tea drinker. But since I've cut back on my alcohol consumption, I've turned to iced tea when I want something cold to drink. I've found my favorite is a mix of the Kettle Iced Tea leaves and the Pu-Erh Superfruit blend. I make a gallon at a time with 3 Tbs of Kettle Tea, and 2Tbs of the Superfruit. Delicious, even unsweetened.

As Expected

Pu-erh (in general) can be a bit too much for some tea drinkers, it tends to have a strong and lingering taste that might be described as earthy/bitter/musty. With this tea however, any rough edges have been completely smoothed out by a strong but not overpowering fruitiness. You'll need to add at least a little sugar to get the fruit flavor to really pop, so I suggest doing so even if you usually drink your tea unsweetened. Please note this tea has cornflower blossoms, which add a distinctive velvety mouth feel that adds to the tea's overall smoothness. If you have never tried pu-erh and you are not sure about going straight into the deep end of the pool, or if you usually like really sweet fruity teas and want to cut back on how much sugar you add, or if you have never tried a tea with cornflower blossoms, then I highly recommend giving Pu-Erh Superfruit a try.

An excellent combination

An excellent combination of the smoldering goodness of a pu-erh with the fruitiness of a flavored tea. Just a touch of sugar brings out the pomegranate and blueberry flavors that make this one of my “go-to” teas in the morning. The second brew is just as good as the first

Mild

This is a mild tasting tea. No strong or bitter overtones. Pu-Erh teas have become my favorite. This blend adds to the variety of Pu-Erh offerings.

A nice fruity blend

The fruit really comes to the forefront with this tea and becomes more subtle through subsequent steeping. The strawberry was not as pronounced as I had hoped but I could discern the pomegranate and raspberry. All in all a satisfying tea for a chilly day.

Berries

The sweet berries do a lot to liven up this cup of black tea. I really enjoy the raspberry and blueberry flavors that peak through in this great cup!

How much of this should you drink in a day/week…for it to be "beneficial"?

The Whistling Kettle

With tea in general - keep in mind that it's sort of like a low dose medicine. Each tea is different, but in general 3-5 cups a day is a sweet spot that most studies have shown. Pu-erh is known more for its digestive / cholesterol roles. Doesn't mean you have to drink the same tea all day. A good rule of thumb, more energy / caffeine teas in morning - milder teas in afternoon, herbal in evening. We also have other teas with pu-erh blended in (i.e. Tru grit). If you have a specific goal - drinking it more regularly at first, then you can step down to less frequency to maintain.
