Enjoyable Tea

I found this tea quite enjoyable, with the combination of orange and ginger creating a delightful harmony. However, I wish the flavors were more pronounced—the orange and ginger seem a bit subdued, with the tea leaf itself taking center stage.

The Tea Leaf Dance

So I’m going to do something a little unconventional here, but, hey us tea drinkers are usually a little unconventional. I love this tea, it’s one of my favorites. So much so , my review is going to be a poem (no I’m no professional writer as you’ll see) while watching this particular tea steep. I hope you enjoy it.

The Tea Leaf Dance

Measured carefully the water boils, me with tea leaves in hand
I watch the steeping leaves dance and it’s a symphony grand

Timer set, my foot is tapping
In my mind, patience and exuberance yapping

I again peep into the pot to see the alluring twirl
What a world renowned ballet as the leaves unfurl

I want to do my own happy dance as the timer expires
Cup held in both hands so much warmer and soothing than a fire

I bring the magical elixir to my lips for a sip
Oh what a joy I feel from my brain to my toe tips

This is the journey I’ve chosen to call The Tea Leaf Dance
This love of tea has brought my mind, body, and soul into balance

Great evening tea.

I smoke a pipe and this tea pairs very well with some of my favorite tobaccos. As a bonus it’s not caffeine heavy so I can enjoy it in the evening.

Solid, but pretty mild

This is a solid oolong. Smooth and not bitter. The orange and ginger are present, but subtle. Personal preference is I’d like a little more bite from the ginger…. that’s me.
