This single source tea from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) received its name because situated on the estate is a cliff where lovers would throw themselves over if they were jilted or they were not allowed to marry one another. Those days are thankfully gone, but what remains is a medium bodied black tea with a lively astringency. We love this tea because it makes a great pure black iced tea and great with a lemon wedge.
