Black Dragon Pearls
This Yunnan specialty is a black tea version of Dragon Pearls. No bitterness here - just sweet, smooth flavor with a touch of earth. Comprised of only the highest quality leaves and buds, expertly rolled into a large pearl-like shape. Subtle cocoa notes whisper gently as each pearl unfurls delivering a superior tea experience not to be missed. 2-3 pearls per cup is a passport to a sublime tea drinking experience.
Smooth and earthy
This tea is incredibly good. Full, rich bodied but not the least bit bitter. Even if steeped for a longer period, it maintains it's smooth flavor. A new favorite of mine.
I have tried multiple black teas as well as blends. For the longest time I preferred irish breakfast and darjeeling first blush. The first had the richness, the latter had the complexity.
I believe this will now be my go to tea for black. It has an almost burgundy mouth feel, rich, slightly heavy overtones. Initial taste is woodsy, a bit of red wine tones, a bit earthy, and finishes bright, with cocoa tones and a bit honeyed. Fantastic tea.
No need of sugar or milk. Good for 2 steeps. First steep cut at about 2 minutes with 212f water. Second steep about 5 minutes. Those adventurous may try a third steep but it'll likely be weak.
The smoothest black tea I've ever had. Deliscous black, no need to add milk or honey. I think this is my #1 favorite whistling keetle tea, and I've tried most.
