The Whistling Kettle offers event space in Troy and Schenectady locations. From bridal/baby showers, retirement parties, work functions, private parties, The Whistling Kettle is a full-service restaurant with an enjoyable atmosphere.

Our famous Afternoon Tea is sure to delight all your guests! After you have read our very detailed banquet event brochure with pricing, please complete the form below to check for availability for your event. If the date is available, you will receive a link to make the deposit to lock in your date. All reservations are subject to availability

Smaller parties below the room limits listed in the banquet event brochure can be accommodated at both locations. However these will be walk-in, non-private parties based on a first come, first served basis. Guests will order off the menu and there will be a maximum seating time of 2 hours during peak business hours. There are no private bookings or party planners involved for groups less than the listed sizes in the banquet event brochure. If the party is over 12 guests, we highly recommend coming in during a weekday, or right at opening or after 3pm for prompt seating.

Again, we do not take reservations, and seat guests based on first come, first served basis. There are no decorations, extra space allocations for gifts, large wrapping paper disposal bags or outside food/cakes permitted.

If your party is less than the private room reservation minimums, but you still would like to reserve the banquet space, you may do so at the full rate, during the times listed in the banquet brochure.
