Lapsang Souchong

Product information

$3.00

Description

A deep, smoky aroma wafts from the cup, like the smell of a cozy campfire. Lapsang Souchong tea leaves are withered over pine or cypress to infuse a woody scent, and then dried over a smoking pine fire. This unique savory flavor profile is surprising at first, but quickly grows on you. Try it paired with a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs.

Lapsang Souchong

This is an amazing truly Earthy taste sensation with the truly unique and unforgettable fragrance that is hit or miss with the uninitiated. The tea that's presented from this fine establishment is unfathomably rich, robust, just freaking delicious

Smokey, yet satisfying

I got this tea on a whim and panicked when I received it. I was highly skeptical when I smelled it. It really does smell like a campfire. Once I was finally brave enough to take the plunge, I discovered this tea is actually wonderful! You do get a hint of smoke but more like that whiff that clings to your hair after sitting by the fire. It is an incredibly smooth tasting tea and I actually really enjoyed it.

Not for everyone

I dumped the pot after the first sip... the smell put me off but thought maybe the flavor would be okay but it was equally bad. Tastes like I'm trying to steep burnt ash from a campfire..
