Vintage Pu-Erh (Shou - old age, old aroma)
Deep and complex flavor with no bitterness. Notes of leather, vegetal undergrowth, soft liqueur with mineral notes. Suitable for multiple steepings.
Earthy character. Milder compared to younger Pu-erhs.
Country of Origin
I bought a sample and I did not care for the taste of this tea. I love most of the teas I ordered, but this one did not appeal to me. It had notes of musty clothes closet.
Vintage Pu-Erh is a delicious and very smooth tea. It’s my first time trying it. It does have a bit of a fishy smell but it’s taste is delicious. I did forget to rinse it. I need to experiment with it more to determine how much to use per cup. Love your teas!
I love the tea, it has a great flavor.
I had never heard of Pu-erh prior to buying it so I had no idea what to expect. It was a wonderful, full bodied tea. Retaining it's flavor through multiple infusions. It was smooth, with no bitterness or vegetal taste. I think it would also make a wonderful iced tea and look forward to giving that a go over the summer.
