Blood Orange Whisky Sour Recipe with Blood Orange Tea

We love Bourbon, so any recipe we can use with tea to make a great mixed drink is a plus! For this recipe, instead of using blood orange juice, we are using a concentrate of our Blood Orange Fruit Tisane.


  • Cocktail shaker
  • measuring jigger
  • strainer


  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce blood orange tea
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 egg white


  1. Brew the blood orange tea into a concentrate. Use about 1.5 tablespoons per 4oz of water. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Add ice to a lowball glass.
  3. Add ingredients to cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice and shake for 20 seconds
  4. Add ice to shaker and shake again. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish and enjoy!
