Blood Orange Whisky Sour Recipe with Blood Orange Tea
We love Bourbon, so any recipe we can use with tea to make a great mixed drink is a plus! For this recipe, instead of using blood orange juice, we are using a concentrate of our Blood Orange Fruit Tisane.
- Cocktail shaker
- measuring jigger
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce blood orange tea
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- Brew the blood orange tea into a concentrate. Use about 1.5 tablespoons per 4oz of water. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
- Add ice to a lowball glass.
- Add ingredients to cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice and shake for 20 seconds
- Add ice to shaker and shake again. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish and enjoy!
