Eating less sugar and processed food should be first priority. Avoid sugary drinks like soda, or worse - sweetened energy drinks. But there are some foods that are known to contain compounds that boost your immune system.

Non-oxidized teas, such as green tea, white tea, some oolongs are loaded with anti-oxidants. It doesn't matter if you drink straight up green tea or flavored green and white teas - you'll get a nice dose of anti-oxidants that will circulate through the bloodstream. We don't recommend green tea extract pills because they can be toxic.

But there are additional teas that include beneficial herbs including ginger and turmeric. Even fruit teas are an excellent choice because they contain a high quantity of citrus and hibiscus.

  1. Drink plenty of non-oxidized teas. Green tea, white tea and lighter oolong teas.
  2. Drink herbal teas containing ginger, turmeric or other beneficial compounds.

Drink these teas several times a day, and incorporate the foods above into your daily diet. Ensuring that you have a strong immune system will help you fend off serious illnesses like the Corona virus, but having a strong immune system even if you do contract Covid-19 gives you far better chances for minimal symptoms and faster recovery.
