We are pleased to introduce Route, an insurance and order tracking platform that is optionally available with any purchase of tea made through the Whistling kettle. Many of you rely on prompt delivery of tea, and with higher delivery volumes, pandemic related disruptions and weather events that can cause delays, using Route will give you an extra layer of protection and ensure the quickest response.
How does Route work?
Route provides you an added layer of security in case your package gets lost, stolen or damaged. In most cases, your claim will be approved for a re-order or refund within 24 hours.
What if the package shows delivered but I never received it?
Many times the shipment is delivered to a wrong address and it shows up the next day. If it doesn't, with Route you can claim this package as stolen and get a replacement.
What if the package is not "lost" but severely delayed?
Many times, carriers such as USPS do not declare a package officially lost until 30 days has passed or more, and the claims process itself can take up to 30 days to be resolved. With Route, you wont have to worry about this happening.
What if the package is damaged?
Traditional carriers have a very tedious claims process for damaged merchandise. With Route, your claim is processed quickly and a replacement and refund is usually issued within 24 hours.
What if my items are defective?
You will still contact Whistling Kettle Customer service to resolve these issues.
How do I file a claim?
When you add route at checkout, you can easily file claims for lost, stolen or damages packages. To do so, visit the claims page.
