How much caffeine is in green tea matcha versus just plain green tea?

A typical 8 ounce cup of green tea has around 20-30mg of caffeine. The Matcha equivalent is 60-70mg.

Easy Matcha Recipe Directions

Green tea Matcha Latte Brewing Method: (for a 16 ounce serving and more caffeine)

Add 1x 3 gram packet of matcha to about 6-8 ounces of hot water and froth until dissolved.

Add in milk, soy milk, or almond milk and sugar. Froth until you have nice foam.

Pour over ice. (you can garnish with a little matcha, shaved chocolate, ginger or anything else!

Because our packets contain more matcha than other brands, this green tea matcha will provide even more caffeine than the standard amount.

Matcha Banana Smoothie

Dissolve 1 packet matcha in 1/4 cup hot water.

In a blender, add 1 banana; 1 cup skim milk, soy, or almond milk; 1 tsp honey & cup of ice.

Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
