The leaves are rolled, giving them a more wiry appearance similar to Bi Lo Chun. The tea has a dark complexion with a fresh,brisk flavor with nutty undertones.
Our supplier owns and operates the farm and and factory, so this tea is given extra special attention during its production. The picture of the tea is the actual farm, not a stock image. We've included some scenes of the owner who is pictured doing the final samplings of this batch.
It hails from Lin'an, Zhejian - China. Most of the region is mountainous and covered in forest, with a small, densely populated urban area in the east. Due to the large amount of forest cover, this area is famous for its high bio-diversity. Most of this region is sub-tropical and humid, with some frost during the coldest months of winter.
