Stomach pain and nausea can prove to be problematic at best. The feelings of pain, cramps, nausea, and general discomfort in the abdominal region can be absolutely debilitating. Luckily, there are a number of natural treatments that area available to help alleviate the discomfort that presents itself when stomach problems arise. Most of these treatments are based on herbs and herbal teas. The first consideration for a natural remedy is green tea; green tea has a number of healing properties, and it has been shown to decrease the bloating and gas that is sometimes associated with nausea. In addition to green tea, there are other herbs that may be combined with green tea or brewed by themselves that have been shown to assist with stomach discomfort. These natural treatments include herbs such as peppermint, spearmint, ginger, licorice, basil, and chamomile.
