The clarity and health of our skin is important to most of us. After all, a healthy glow to our skin, and a nice shine to our hair, not only makes us appear more attractive, but it also indicates overall good health to those that we meet. Additionally, we normally feel better about ourselves when we know that we look good. This is probably why there is a multi-million dollar industry for skin creams, shampoos and conditioners, tighteners, and various different kinds of makeup and injections. Everyone wants to look younger, healthier, and more attractive. The good news is that these expensive treatments do not have to be the end all and be all for skin and hair care. There are a number of herbs and other plants that will naturally help improve the health and appearance of your hair and skin. Things like nettle, chamomile, burdock, cinnamon, calendula flowers, clover, cayenne pepper, and turmeric have all been shown to improve skin and hair health. These can be consumed directly or steeped into a tea. As an aside, the same can be said for green tea. Green tea has been shown to posses a number of anti-aging properties which are excellent for the health of your skin and hair.
