The combination of peaches and apricots blended with a top grade White Peony tea from Fujianre. Delicate hints of citrus finish with faint lingering notes of honey layered over the thick jammy character of this full-bodied tea. Let the brew cool a few degrees before drinking and you'll taste the peach flavor more prominently.

White tea (Chinese: 白茶; pinyin: báichá), is made from the buds and young leaves of the tea plant. These leaves are withered and dried naturally under semi-controlled conditions. If mechanical drying is required the leaves are baked (not fired) at temperatures less that 40°C. Because of these special growing and harvesting procedures, white tea has higher concentrations of catechins than other types of tea. Catechins are the antioxidants in tea responsible for antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and anticancer properties. White tea has also been found to help prevent rheumatoid arthritis and age associated wrinkles.

Apricots. -_-Review by Leigh
This doesn't taste like peach, it only tastes like apricots, which is reasonable given that there are dehydrated chunks of apricots in the mix. In fact, apricot is the second listed ingredient on the label right behind white tea. After that? Natural peach flavor.

In fairness, I pilfered an older bag of this from my mother and after having drank through hers I ordered my own. I didn't realize they had changed the mix so drastically, and it is certainly on me for not double checking.

With that said, if you are billing something as being "peach" then perhaps it should be.

Personally, I do not care for apricots in the slightest, nor do I like chunks of dehydrated fruit in my tea. If you do, then this tea may sincerely be up your alley. But if you're like me and don't like fruit overpowering your tea, steer clear. I'm gamely working my way through my 4 oz bag by picking out the largest chunks, but the flavoring is... apricot.

At the very least this is mislabeled. (Posted on 1/4/2018)
The Best!Review by Lee Ann
I drink this iced, but it's one of the best flavored whites I've come across. Plus it's organic too! (Posted on 5/18/2016)
Refreshing ...wonderful morning teaReview by Michelle
Perfect if you like a tea that will calmly start your day off. Just the right amount of caffeine and flavor ..another tea that I reach for any day of the week. Once you steep and drink Whistling kettle's teas you will never go bag to a tea bag that has little or no flavor. Thank you for bringing fresh tea to me in Maine! (Posted on 6/28/2014)
