Traditionally Moroccans consume a harsh beverage prepared with fresh or dried mint leaves. The English were thought to have introduced Moroccans to tea, which was delightfully welcomed as a pleasant way to blend out the harshness of mint. The introduction came about on account of the proximity of the British at their garrison in Gibraltar. The trade links between Gibraltar and Morocco made the blending of cultures and the adoption of  tea a natural extension of their geographic position.

If you can picture yourself sitting on a long fringe carpet in a colourful tiled room decorated in bright Islamic design, sipping from a small handpainted glass -you may discover one of the many pleasures of this ancient kingdom. Moroccans say that tea should be bitter as death, sweet as life, and as mellow as love. We've tried to capture that in this cup.

We've enhanced the mint experience by infusing the leaves themselves with crisp spearmint essence.

MintyReview by Bob
I tried the old Moroccan Mint that they had, and it was pretty good. I tried this new stuff that they got, and I was blown away! This is a great tea, cool and crisp. (Posted on 5/13/2016)
Great Tea All AroundReview by Bekah
This has to be my favorite mint tea. It is so perfectly smooth and mellow, but very fresh and cooling. Delicious as a hot tea, but also wonderful iced. Very relaxing to drink and perfect to calm an upset stomach. (Posted on 12/21/2015)
Light mint flavored green teaReview by Chelbella
Subtle hint of mint, not overpowering. Nice flavor. Enjoyed hot, not sure I would try it cold, unless it was sweetened. (Posted on 8/14/2014)
