Blackberry is a member of the Rosacea family. It is something of a classic fruit whose aroma and fragrance is c aptured in this delightful tea. The most common as well as being the most vigorous growing, is the Himalayan Blackberry. Were you also aware that most species of wild blackberry provide a natural source of cover and food for birds as well as some mammals? Not only this, but the Himalayan Blackberry is considered a weed! Not all blackberry leaves are deciduous, many remain evergreen and the vines have a tendency to smoother other plant growth.

A Himalayan blackberry can be distinguished from other varieties by its five distinctive leaflets. The California blackberry on the other hand has only three leaflets. The wild blackberry plant can live up to 25 years or more. On the West Coast, blackberries are also known as 'trailing berries' or 'dew berries. Enjoy th e delicious character of blackberries in this exemplary tea. What type of tea do we use, how do we flavor the tea and why do we use natural flavors?

This is not a typical flavor for tea (that I've seen, anyway) so I had to try it and I'm so glad I did. This flavor combination is just delicious!! I'm a huge fan of blackberries but something about pairing it with the sage just takes it over the top and makes it into an elixir-Magic in a cup! (Posted on 6/2/2017)
Lovely Blackberry NotesReview by Noell
I am a blackberry fan! You add the words blackberry and I will buy it. This is a great tea the blackberry is subtle and the sage is very mild. I am not a sage fan, so I had reservations. I really enjoy this tea. (Posted on 4/10/2017)

This tea got me hooked on Whistling Kettle. I was in Ballston Spa as a visitor and my friend took me there. I brought some of the blackberry sage tea home and was immediately hooked after the first taste. It's delicious with honey. (Posted on 2/22/2017)
Blackberry SageReview by Casey
I thought that the sage might be overpowering in this tea, since its a strong spice. I was very happy to find a perfect balance between the berry, black tea, and sage tastes in this tea. Two thumbs up! (Posted on 5/10/2016)

This is one of my favorite teas. Perfect for spring/ summer, hot or cold. Very berry taste and the sage adds a nice smooth element. I recommend highly. (Posted on 3/16/2016)
